Gallery Hotel is aware of the importance of maintaining sustainable tourism development and has adopted the principles and objectives set out specifically at the World Sustainable Development Summit 2015, COP 21 and the World Charter for Sustainable Tourism + 20. As such, it is committed to undertaking sustainable management of its activities by adopting commitments geared towards preventing, reducing or eliminating the impact of our facilities and activities, both internal and external, and optimising the establishment’s sustainability by improving its interaction with its surroundings.

This being the case, our organisation has adopted the following Responsible Tourism Policy, through which we commit to meeting the requirements set out in BIOSPHERE certification, which includes the legal requirements that regulate the effects produced by tourism activity.

We are committed to training and inspiring our staff through training and awareness-raising actions related to the principles of Responsible Tourism, promoting environmental best practice in our surroundings and participating in external activities, as well as reporting on the company’s progress and environmental actions, both internally and externally.

One of our principal goals is to improve sustainable management, adopting commitments to continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: social, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction.

This Responsible Tourism Policy will be updated whenever circumstances require it, and new sustainability targets will be adopted and published in each case.
